When you think you've come up with everything.  Keep going a step to make it future-proof.  One thing you don't want to do is create a name that you'll grow out of it. Eventually. This is a common mistake to look for in the future of today. Your company only sells women's shoes, but eventually, you'd like to add a men's line then it's probably a good idea to not name. Your company. God is Heels by feeling it.  That's my company name think Story versus product consider your company story values and What Makes You Different as you brainstorm grab a piece of paper and a pen and start writing it all down. how to start a business

What is business?

There are inputs you put into a business and the business will produce outputs. Inputs you could think if you are a chocolate company, then you'll need a farm for your Cocoa Tree to make cocoa to turn that into chocolate that Cocoa Tree where you have your farm that island. You'll need employee labor to start a business then you will need robots. You'll need a factory in order to do this that's called capital and there needs to be an entrepreneur that is organized has ideas. And he's able to take a risk in order to get a reward likely profit and that's called Enterprise these four items land labor Capital Enterprise are known as the factors of production server details on my factors of production article a business. Start a business?Starting a business is so easy. You can start your own business without money or any investment. You just need a Name to start your online business fast.So business is often as it grows divided up into four sections. These are operations Human Resources. Sometimes called HR marketing. hurting and finance these four divisions of a company Are all sinner's internal factors also they are. Your units for your GCSE business. If you're doing Hua then it will be actually operations if you are free. HR is unit for marketing is unit five and finance is unit 6 if you do other specifications, it will be broken down ever so slightly, but the essence is pretty much the same. So these are all internal to the businesses because the business is in controlling them. However, the business has external factors that affect them coming from outside the business external pressures examples are number one the economy how the economy is faring will affect the business if the economy is not doing very well growth is low. It will affect many businesses. Sometimes it will affect them positively most of the time affect them negatively. You've got inflation. Exchange rates unemployment. They will all affect the business exchange rates, you might import your cocoa from abroad so how much the pound is worth will make a big difference to you. Check out my exchange rates articles for more details on that. Also external pressures laws. Sometimes laws are called regulations there set by governments minimum wage if the minimum wage were to increase that will affect how much you pay in labor to your employees and that's a cost of production. So that will affect your costs. Consumer protection, sometimes there are regulations laws that are put in to make sure that goods and services meet a certain quality. Consumer protections are very important, but that extra quality could mean extra costs because you might now have to employ more labor. You might need better capital in order to cover that also need to think you need to be ethical. It's not a law but it's a consideration. You need to be ethical. You need to be doing the morally correct FIB for example, should you as a big business should you use fair trade? Business Startup  For example, should you use zero-hour contracts? These are Big considerations check out my article on that one. Okay, so inputs go into a business creates outputs usually come in two forms goods and services. These are both explained very shortly after this stage stay tuned for goods and services whether it's a tangible product. That's a good or an intangible process. That's a service will have an environmental impact and that's another external pressure and duration a business should make for example carbon footprint is now a growing issue within business and the economy. For example, one percent of coffee cups are currently recycled which means 99% of coffee cups are not recycled. This is a big thing for a business to consider. However, they could also use it to their advantage. There is a coffee business called Costa that is now trying to increase the number of coffee cups that it recycles. and that is a form of Marketing so you can use these external pressures to your benefit stay tuned.  We're looking at the outputs that businesses produced they can be Goods or they can be services and it's important to make the distinction between these two things. So good he's a tangible product by tangible. It's a physical thing that you can hold like an iPhone for example, like a toy so an Object to satisfy consumers' needs and ones. That's the definition that you need to know for goods the word consumers if that's confusing you that's someone who buys a good or service from a business just anyone that buys a good or service from a business. So needs and wants needs and wants are different things. We think we need an iPhone. We do not want an iPhone. So knees are like food and water things to Keep Us Alive they are. Actual items. These are supplied by some business's food. For example, you get a supermarket as well as water some companies produce water like Buxton, for example, once iPhone or toys as mentioned before and these are non-essential items. So it's just important to keep the distinction Within These because there are different types of goods opposite of a good is a service is an intangible process. What do you think of the word intangible you're thinking about the fact that you cannot hold it? You physically cannot hold the car wash after your car's been washed. Can you whether you can hold the iPhone either you bought that so you're thinking intangible can't hold it. So it's about the process is about actions to satisfy consumers examples of those Car Wash hairdressers Barbers, and it goes to The Barbers later and banking for example banks are an example of a service. Provided to Consumers.

how to start a business

How to Start a Business?

What is business? How to start a business? This is often the article for you. Let's check it like this. There are area unit entries that you establish in a business and the business can generate exits. Tickets that you will suppose if you are a chocolate company, then you will have a farm for your Cocoa Tree to create cocoa to show that in chocolate that Cocoa Tree wherever you have your farm on that island. you will have hardworking labor. You will like robots. you will have an industrial plant to try to do} this {which is called} capital and there must be a bourgeois who is organized and has ideas. And he can take the risk of inducing a current profit without a doubt and that is known as an enterprise.  These four things are the land, the labor, the capital, the area unit of the company, the factors of production, the server, the details of my factors of production, the articles, a business. Therefore, the business is common because it grows divided into four sections. These Human Resources area unit operations. It is sometimes called a time unit promotion. pain and finances these four divisions of an organizational area unit are all internal sinner factors together. Your units for your GCSE business. If he is doing Harkat-ul-Mujahidin, it will be operations if he is free. image HR is the unit for promotion is unit 5 and finance is the unit I saw if you are doing alternative specs, it will weaken slightly, but the gist is almost similar.  Therefore, all these internal area units of companies, since the business is in the dominant. However, the business has external factors that affect them, which return from outside the business external pressures examples ideal area unit the economy however the economy is progressing can affect the business if the economy is not well, growth is low. it will affect multiple companies. Sometimes it will affect them most of the time it will hurt them. You have inflation. State of exchange rates. They are all going to affect commercial exchange rates, you can import your cocoa from abroad, so the ratio of the pound to the price can create a huge distinction for you. Also, laws of external pressures. Sometimes the laws refer to the laws set by governments about profits if profits were to spread, which can affect the proportion you pay your staff, and which is a production value. so, it can affect your prices. Consumer protection, in general, some laws apply to laws to ensure that products and services meet the exact quality. Consumer protections are important; however, higher quality can mean higher prices as currently, you may have to be forced to use a lot of labor. you may want higher capital to hide that at the same time you must assume that you would like to be moral. It is not a law, but it is a thought. you would like to be moral. you would like to do the FIB virtuously correctly, for example, do you have to do it as a huge business? Do you have to use truthful trading? for example, do you have to use zero hour contracts? image Okay, therefore, the inputs that go into a business create outputs that are sometimes available in 2 forms of products and services. These area units were explained shortly once this stage was tuned in for products and services, whether it is a tangible product or not. which is an honest or intangible method. That is a service that can have an environmental impact and that is another external pressure and the period in which a company must demonstrate that the carbon footprint is currently a growing problem in business and in the economy.  For example, the common fraction of the occasional cup area unit is currently recycled, which implies that ninety-nine of the occasional cups do not appear to be recycled. This is a huge topic for a business to think about. However, they could use it together to their advantage. An occasional business known as Costa is trying to expand the number of occasional glasses it recycles. And that can be a kind of promotion, so you can use these external pressures to your advantage. Be careful. And I'm currently presenting a product and service case in more detail. We are looking at the results that companies created, they will be products or services, and it is vital to create excellence between these two things. So smart it's an ap N iPhone. we have a tendency not to want an iPhone. therefore, the knees are units of the area like food and water to stay alive in the United States. Real things. These are units provided by the food of some companies. For example, you get a food market but like water, some companies produce water like Buxton for example an iPhone or toys as mentioned above, and these area units are not essential things. Therefore, it is important to maintain excellence at intervals. These because there are diverse types of products compared to an honest service can be an intangible method. What does one consider intangible about the word? Are you thinking about the very fact that you cannot keep her? You cannot physically sustain the car wash once the car has been washed. Can you tell whether you will be able to hold the iPhone you bought and therefore you are thinking that the intangible cannot hold it? So, it's all about actions to satisfy buyers of Barbers car wash hairdressers, and then it goes to The Barbers and then to the banking area unit, for example, an example of a service. Provided to buyers. You wouldn’t perpetually like a great deal of capital to urge a business up and running. Typically, you'll be able to start with very little to no funding. (Yes!) beginning a business with no cash may ab initio seem to be a far-fetched plan, however, it’s not possible. What is Business?

What is the business what is business this is the article for you.Let's look at it like this. There are inputs you put into a business and the business will produce outputs.Inputs you could think if you are a chocolate company, then you'll need a farm for your Cocoa Tree to make cocoa to turn that into chocolate that Cocoa Tree where you have your farm that island. You'll need employee labor. You will need robots. You'll need a factory to do this that's called capital and there needs to be an entrepreneur that is organized has ideas. And he's able to take a risk to get a reward likely profit and that's called Enterprise these four items land labor Capital Enterprise are known as the factors of production server details on my factors of production articles a business. So business is often as it grows divided up into four sections. These are operations Human Resources.Sometimes called HR marketing. hurting and finance these four divisions of a company Are all sinner's internal factors also they are.Your units for your GCSE business. If you're doing Hua then it will be operations if you free.HR is unit for marketing is unit five and finance is unit 6 if you do other specifications, it will be broken down ever so slightly, but the essence is pretty much the same.So these are all internal to the businesses because the business is in controlling them. However, the business has external factors that affect them coming from outside the business external pressures examples are number one the economy how the economy is faring will affect the business if the economy is not doing very well growth is low. It will affect many businesses.Sometimes it will affect them positively most of the time affect them negatively. You've got inflation.Exchange rates unemployment. They will all affect the business exchange rates, you might import your cocoa from abroad so how much the pound is worth will make a big difference to you. Also external pressures laws.Sometimes laws are called regulations there set by governments minimum wage if the minimum wage were to increase that will affect how much you pay in labor to your employees and that's a cost of production. So that will affect your costs.Consumer protection, sometimes some regulations laws are put in to make sure that goods and services meet a certain quality.Consumer protections very important, but that extra quality could mean extra costs because you might now have to employ more labor. You might need better capital to cover that also need to think you need to be ethical. It's not a law but it's a consideration. You need to be ethical. You need to be doing the morally correct FIB for example, should you as a big business should you use fair trade? For example, should you use zero-hour contracts?Okay, so inputs go into a business creates outputs usually come in two forms goods and services. However, they could also use it to their advantage.A coffee business called Costa is now trying to increase the number of coffee cups that it recycles.and that is a form of Marketing so you can use these external pressures to your benefit stay tuned. And now I'm going to explain goods and services in more detail. We're looking at the outputs that business produced they can be Goods or they can be services and it's important to make the distinction between these two things. So good he's a tangible product by tangible. I mean, it's a physical thing that you can hold like an iPhone for example, like a toy so an Object to satisfy consumers' needs and ones. That's the definition that you need to know for goods the word consumers if that's confusing you that's someone who buys a good or service from a business just anyone that buys a good or service from a business. So needs and wants needs and wants are different things. We think we need an iPhone. We do not want an iPhone. So knees are like food and water things to Keep Us Alive they are.Actual items. So it's about the process is about actions to satisfy consumers examples of those Car Wash hairdressers Barbers, and it goes to The Barbers later and banking for example banks are an example of a service.Provided to Consumers. I hope that helps your exams be graced by a humble. Good luck with your exams.

So here's just a few YouTube Originals that are more than worth checking out. You got Wayne impulse. Best Shot origin, weird City, and even Cobra Kai which is my personal favorite of all the Two Originals. I've watched that show. I've actually gone through it twice. I like it that much but maybe I'm just a big Karate Kid Mark from back in the day. I don't know. But either way, Cobra, Kai is really cool. I mean, the list goes on and on. There's a ton of Originals to watch and then the other big benefit you get is that you get access to YouTube music, which is basically like Spotify for YouTube. So you can kind of condense down your monthly subscriptions and have your video and your music service all-in-one for that 12 bucks a month, which is pretty cool. You don't spend $10 on Spotify. I and $12 on YouTube premium, the only thing is you lose out on all the social aspects of Spotify if all your friends, use it and that's your go-to music player. You lose out on that by switching YouTube, but you save money. So, again, pros and cons. It's all about weighing what works out for you. The last couple benefits really work out, well, for mobile users, you have the ability to download videos and take them on the go. So if you have a situation where you're going to be watching a lot of videos and you don't have access to data, or you don't want to use all your cellular data, you could download the video. Was taken with you watching on the go and the other thing that's nice which I actually use this all the time is that you can watch stuff in the background. So you can have a video playing and then close, the app, go about your business, and have it still playing in the background. I use this because I watch shows like a critical role which is like a four-hour, long Dungeons and Dragons session, and a lot of the time, it's just them sitting there talking. I don't need to see that. So put it in the background let it play. I keep listening to what's happening and I play Hearthstone or something else on my phone. So it's a nice feature to have. It's not like a deal breaker or it's not going to change your life or anything, but if you watch really long videos that are not action intensive, it is a cool feature to have. So really it all comes down to your preferences. How much does what I just spelled out for you? How much does that interest you? Is that something that you consider worth 12 bucks a month? Personally, I think it is worth 12 bucks a month. I really like the YouTube originals. And as I mentioned, I watch shows like critical role there. Like four hours long and YouTube, injects a lot of ads into those and it makes watching I'm very Save. So that's very nice. And again, I mentioned the background plays, very cool. Personally, I don't use YouTube music, I still pay for a Spotify subscription. Again, that's going to come down to your preference. I like being able to quickly share music with my friends and we all use Spotify. So Spotify's kind of got a hold on me on that one. And I can't get rid of it. But if getting rid of ads and the originals are not something that interests you. The other features may not be enough to sway you but they offer a free trial so you can jump in, give it a shot. See if you actually make use of the features and if you do sign up, It's 12 bucks a month, it's not a bad deal. And once again, this is Dave Leclair with making you self.com. Thank you very much for reading this article on YouTube premium. Let us know down in the comments there if you're going to sign up for you to premium, or if you're going to stick with that watching ads and not watching stuff in the background.Have a good one.

The dark side of YouTube premium.

Hello everyone. It's me once again. So today I just want to share my thoughts on the dark side of YouTube premium membership, okay. So for the past couple of months, I decided to join the YouTube premium membership because the huge benefit here as I said from my previous video because to this is that you can you don't you know, longest need to see commercials but I think if you play some music Channel music video channel, sometimes you do have to see these commercials but most of You don't anymore and second of all if you're offline, you could download certain context in advance. So you could still watch those download contests, which is, I love it. It's really good. And there's another one, which is the play background sound, despite you lock, the phone et cetera. Those are the three main features. But when I logged into that settings, I happen to found an extra function which is a family plan. So as I said, I'm paying to play, I'm paying 11190. Nine British pounds a month for the past couple of months, and they're asking for another six pounds to increase to 1799. Therefore, I can invite that privilege to send it to my family members and Etc. So what I've done is, I send it to my mother and my wife and also, my brother-in-law and Etc. And my brother-in-law loves watching you to himself. He placed his daughter and so on. But when the way how it works is, I have to send an email invite to them, and when they accept it, that's how they get to become an additional premium family member. But he was rejected because he is he lives abroad. He's registered as someone living abroad permanently from where I am registered as an original YouTube premium member. So what I did is I made a complaint to number one, I went for chatting, you know, you could go to complain and chat room. With one of them, you to staff and I'm quite happy to share this context and he wasn't really The Helpful. I actually tackled him saying that. Why would someone live abroad? Not qualified to become a family plan and he said, hang on a second, I'll come back to you. I'll come back to you and you never did so any disrespect, by the way, but that was, I am actually quite happy to share that screenshot with you. Second of all, I request a callback which is the quickest way which I believe that you can contact, but you have to send your channel link and so on. But they Come back to you immediately. And when I spoke with this lady, who she later confessed, who's our YouTube, stop, by the way, premium side of Staff you to stop. She's she actually acknowledges that problem as well. She told me that she actually is originally from abroad as well and her family lives abroad. And she's basically hinted that these sorts of problems are likely to be improved in the near future. But at the moment if you're thinking about If you are familiar membrane, if you're thinking about entering the family plan, Please be aware that all your family members have to be permanently registered as the same country that you live in, okay? For today's date, which is the 25th of January 2020, but it sounded like in hopefully within a short period of time hopefully within a year or I don't know that they're going to change that but what I have actually had a go at YouTube, is that there that wasn't really clear. It sounds like YouTube themselves are not really clear how they're going to continue with this all this package and family plan and so on. But please be aware that that's the situation going on with the YouTube premium family plan, but I doubt if I'll still definitely recommend the YouTube premium, becoming a member, I have really enjoyed it. It's it seems. My wife is also slightly enjoying it, my mother will really love it and I really hope my brother-in-law who lives somewhere abroad permanently will also Qualified. Because I mean, YouTube it's not like a certain country has a certain context. We all in a different country are able to access it technically unless we're living in China. I think it's time I with restricted, but you get Elizabeth to access most of the same videos anywhere in the country. But when it comes to the Premium plan family plan, you're not allowed to become a family member because you living abroad is a stupid idea. You two should be more Global and very open. All these things. But at the moment I'm very disappointed that is not which I hope they'll fix. So anyway, so I hope that explains to you about the dark side. If you think there are any more problems please let me know. I love to have more further information but at the moment that is the major major big issue for me. So please be aware if you're thinking of becoming a family member plan, premium member, there's always this disadvantage. Okay? Have a nice evening. We can, it's all all the best.

Get approved by Google AdSense

Hello, I am here to help you get Google AdSense approval now quite a few different people have asked me about this and I thought you know what? I should probably create an article. So what I have done here is I have 12 different tips that will help you get approved fast by Google AdSense now Google AdSense truth be told it can be a pretty tricky Beast if you've never been approved there before generally speaking. If you already have a website that's been approved on Google AdSense. It's pretty simple to get other websites and get them into your account. But what about those that have never been approved or having a lot of problems getting approved? That's exactly who this article is for now before I even start with my list of the 12 different tips that I have for you to get Google AdSense approval. I do want to mention if you're looking at Google AdSense or you know are once you get approved that sort of thing. Keep in mind. There is a platform that I am a big fan of called he's like and you can actually click the link above to see it. But he's oh it is basically a platform that we use Google AdSense and what it does is it actually will look at your website and it will use artificial intelligence to more strategically place your ads in certain areas where they're more likely to be clicked without completely ruining your user experience but by doing so basically, he's oh Akane makes it so that you can actually make more money. You have your ads on your website and everything is going well. In addition to that. They also have a new plugin for site websites like speed. So if your website is really slow. They have a new plug-in with website speed that really really helps with that. It's like super automate. It's a really cool plugin. So definitely check that out as well. Okay. So let's go ahead and get into it. So number one and what I consider one of the most important things if you're trying to get approved with Google AdSense is that you need to make sure that you have high-quality content. On your website now, some people think that this doesn't matter but it does because now Google is reviewing and they're making sure that the website that they are approving aren't just a bunch of Spun content or people who are copying and pasting content from other websites. They want to make sure that they just keep them out of their search results in general. So anyone who's trying to do the shortcuts forget about it. You're not going to get approved for Google AdSense, but if that isn't you right and you have created high-quality content, there are other things to look at as well, but just Make sure that you have high-quality content on your website and you can actually find the Google publisher policies to kind of help you understand what Google considers good in the description below. I included a link for you guys, but just keep in mind Google wants good results in the search engine result pages. They want good results. So if you don't have good high-quality content, then there's a good chance that you'll get denied and they're not going to monetize your website because they know if they don't monetize it you're probably not going to make money and you're probably going to Quit that's why that happens number two and this goes back to the high-quality content. But before you even apply to Google AdSense what I always advise people who have asked me about this. You should have ten to Fifteen high-quality posts on your website to make sure that Google knows that you're taking it seriously that your website really does have some articles and some things that can be monetized by people when they're reviewing this stuff. They want to see this generally speaking you want to have ten to fifteen thousand words on your website. So, you know, if you have like a thousand to fifteen hundred words per article, that's a pretty good number. This will help you get approved because it basically shows the voice of your website and it helps Google to understand the quality of your content, which is very very important. Next is that you absolutely to get AdSense approval you need to follow this article. I had to say it but the truth is guys I do need you to follow this article because if you and follow this article more people who are trying to solve this Like you will be able to find their answer. So please take a second to follow the article to help other people out and also really. I love interacting with you guys, but take a second to do that. I definitely want you to be part of this community and I don't want you to miss out on new content that I have coming out focused on online business entrepreneurship and also Finance. Okay, so number three, and this is something that I think a lot of people miss out on when you create a website you have to have Have an about page and you have to have a contact page before you apply to Google AdSense and this is well. It's pretty simple why when they are doing a review on your website, they want to make sure that it's legitimate to the person behind the website. That's why you have an about page. Usually, if it's not just you know a profile you can have a staff, you know in the different staff that is involved you can do that, but they want to know who's behind the site and then really important to they want to have a contact page so that all of your website visitors If they need to can actually reach out to contact you by having those two pages, you're going to further validate the fact that you are a legitimate business and that is what's really really important to Google when they're looking at you from a Google AdSense perspective number four is that you really need to make sure that you create a privacy policy page. This is a very common thing that people, you know, they screw upon or that it just a common Miss stuff that people have because a lot of times I don't really know what to include in the Privacy policy page and honestly, you can look on Google you can find a ton of different generators. The most important thing is there is specific verbiage that has to be in your privacy policy, right? There are some specific things that Google says has to be in there. So again, if you look in the notes to this article below I've included a link and that explains everything that Google AdSense has to say about the privacy policy including the verbiage that they want you to include in yours, and really it's super easy guys. You just have to copy and paste it number 5. This is one that I think some people probably don't look at or don't really know, think about before they even create a website is that you need to make sure that your content isn't on the restricted list. And yes Google AdSense does have a restricted list and if you have a website and your content is restricted because it's one of those things that they like now, we're not gonna let you advertise with that then goodbye AdSense that's just the reality of the situation. So there are a lot of different rules and everything and again in the description, I have Loaded a link directly telling you what the publisher restrictions are but generally speaking, you can't have anything sexual you can't have shocking, you know, usually like killing, you know terrorism those types of things those bad things explosive guns. Tobacco recreational drugs the sale of alcohol, not alcohol in general, but the sale of alcohol specifically online gambling is a big No-No No, prescription drugs, unapproved Pharmaceuticals, and supplements. This is something that I think was added pretty recently. I didn't see this before. So if you have a website that's a health-based website and a lot of it is on all these different supplements and things that maybe aren't proven and you know, they could be kind of sketchy. It actually looks like Google AdSense might deny you for that now which I don't believe that they did that before with those so that's something to keep an eye out. But again if you want to see the full list, Just click on the description below. You'll be able to see it number six does not use copyrighted images. I can't stress this enough. If you have gone and you should never do this. Never go into Google to get an image take it to put it directly on your website. Never do that. There are usage rights, which protects photographers who, you know work hard to put up those images. They should be paid. They should be compensated. If you do it where you just go into Google and grab an image and you put it up or you do that with multiple images. There's a good chance that Google AdSense whoever's looking Get your website will come there see what you've done and then just say no, we're not going to prove because these aren't even your images. So that's not a very, you know, legitimate way of doing things. So make sure that you don't do that if you're wondering and you're sitting there saying well, I don't have a ton of money for images or I don't really know where to get images. I personally use two different sources. The first is completely free and it is called pixabay.com and the second one does cost money but actually has a lot of different images that you can get at a pretty reasonable price. If you'd like a monthly plan and that is shutterstock.com. And if you're interested in that when you can go ahead and click above and you can actually go directly there to see some of the stuff that they have number seven and this doesn't apply to everywhere but I had to include it here is that sometimes your website age will matter now. This isn't as big of a deal in the US and a lot of different countries, but specifically, Google has made a call out to those that are in China and also that are in it. Here saying that you have to have your websites for at least six months before you even apply to Google AdSense. I believe that they've done this because there were a lot of fraud websites that were created and pushed into the ecosystem into their you know, Google search results and they really didn't like that and they didn't like how people were trying to game the system in the area. I don't know all the specifics, but I know that they've made mention of those two countries specifically, so if you're there then wait 6 months if you're not there that's probably not the issue if you're getting denied. That's probably not the issue. So you don't really have to worry about it. And number eight is to make sure that your website isn't banned now for those that have created a website from scratch. They bought the domain fresh don't even worry about this. This isn't going to be something that's going to happen. Unless you were already told that you were banned from Google AdSense then yeah, you have a problem. But if that's not the case generally speaking if you have started from scratch, you're not going to have this if you have purchased a website or you purchased a domain name. There's an off chance that your website actually has been previously from Google AdSense. It's something definitely worth looking into again. There is a website Below in the description. It's called band check.com to see if you've been banned by Google generally speaking most websites aren't and it's not something you have to deal with but it's definitely a good thing to check out number nine is that you have to make your website look decent. Now, this doesn't mean that you have to go. Buy premium themes and do all the stuff. I'm not going to tell you to do that. You don't need to do that. But you want to make sure that your website looks decent you want to make sure that your website has all the little bells and whistles and that when someone goes to it, it doesn't just look like a bunch of like old school 90s jumbled HTML threw together to where it's like hard to navigate, you know, all that kind of stuff. So really generally speaking you can as long as you're using a WordPress default theme one of their free themes or you have a theme. That you've purchased somewhere. You're going to be in good shape. I will say if you're at all interested. You can click above for this. I have a full tutorial on my recommended themes which I use which is Thrive themes you can go there and you can actually learn more about that what I do with my whole system and everything, but just, you know, generally speaking, make sure that you have something that looks decent. It can be venial. You don't need to have a bunch of images all the stuff but as long as it's organized and you know, looks like a website should and it's generally Enough, that's okay. But you know just to make sure if it's you know custom coated and that sort of stuff that's kind of what you're trying to stay away from unless you really know what you're doing number 10 and this kind of goes back to what I was just saying make sure that you have clear website navigation. Now most people, you know, this is like an afterthought. It's like, of course. I have clear navigation, but sometimes websites don't write or you know, whatever you're using. It isn't really that clear and that's kind of a problem because it doesn't really give validity to the website itself. So just make sure that your navigation for your website. Your main navigation is easily found an easily accessible number 11, make sure that you are of age. So with Google AdSense, you have to be 18 years or older to have an AdSense account when you are filling out an application to join add Sons they ask you for your birthday. If you are under 18 years old, you are not allowed to get an AdSense to account that being said. That doesn't mean that you can't do what you need to do. If you're under 18 years old and if you are awesome keep doing what you're doing. That's great that you're starting so early but if you are under 18 have a parent or legal guardian put their name into it realize that the checks are going to be made out to that person and not you so make sure it's someone you trust but as long as that person is willing to cash in for you and help you along with that. Then you should be fine number 12 and this is just a little hint if you're applying and you keep getting rejected. You're not sure why. Make sure that if you have ads on your website already that you remove Those ads as the application process is going through. So the reason for this it is totally okay and Google actually says to us it's totally okay to use other AD networks in conjunction with Google AdSense. That's totally within the terms of service and 100% fine. But when you are applying someone is going to come to your website and they're going to review your website if they see a bunch of ads popping up all over the place. They may just say you know what? Websites already kind of spammy. They already have a bunch of ads, so we're not going to approve them for here because they're already taken care of what those other guys so you don't want to have them think that so just generally speaking when you're going through the application process remove the ads for the, you know, usually three to five days that it takes for them to approve it. And as long as you've done that, you know, once they approve it, you can go ahead and put up Google AdSense and any other AD Network you want as well. Alright guys, so there it is. I hope you enjoyed this one. If you are struggling with Google AdSense approval, Maybe you guys can share Some details and some helpful hints for each other. You know, I'll do my best to answer everything but generally speaking if you've done all of these you should be able to get approved by Google AdSense.

What is Google AdSense?

What is Google AdSense? So Google AdSense is the advertising program by Google where Publishers or website owners YouTube creators can actually put ad code directly on their website and Google AdSense will fill that ad space and try to pick out as you can see here the right ads for your audience. So rather than you trying to sell your ad space on your website, you can see an example add up here. So a recipe website rather than trying to sell your Our own ads base. You actually just work with Google AdSense. You create an account you sign up you can sign up right with your Google account. And once you're confirmed all you do is add the advertising code directly to your website or you use it on your YouTube videos and you're able to monetize your content. So when people go to your website when people watch your videos, you're actually able to make money from the people that are visiting your website and you don't have to worry about any of the heavy liftings in terms of selling ad space or anything like that. Google AdSense does all the heavy lifting for you. Who should use Google AdSense? So website owners or YouTube Creator should definitely be using Google AdSense. We have an example here. So we own this website beachfront Accord out the cam. This is an AdSense ad right at the top here. So rather than us trying to work with advertisers and trying to fill the ad space, Google AdSense just fills at Forest. If you click on it, you can see add choices up here at the Top If you scroll down to the bottom of the article, this is another adhere and then also this ad at the bottom so these are both ads Google AdSense and Google fills this ad space so you can see powered by Google right up here. So this is an ad by the house. This is an ad by Wayfarer and this is an ad by light topology and you can tell it's a beach Decor related website. So there are serving very very targeted ads that are going to reach people who are more likely to click them. Now we're so as are going to show on your website wherever you put ad code so over here, we have an Amazon Prime code. So if we were to switch that out with Google AdSense code then that ad would show on our website. So this ad is here underneath our article because As we decided to put ad code here at the bottom and put this exact ad unit here in addition to this one below it. So this is an entire ad this is a matched unit add matched content. And this one down here is just your standard Banner responsive display at so Google AdSense is going to fill this with whoever this works for the most. So you're going to see different ads than I do because Google AdSense is constantly pulling user data and trying to figure out how to best serve ads to give people the best user experience. Possible so really it's a win-win for everybody because website owners don't have to worry about you know, all the heavy lifting involved with making money from advertising, and Google AdSense can actually serve ads to people that they know are more likely to click them. So why Google I use Google AdSense, so it's really he's one of the easiest ways to monetize your website they have this will kind of go into the why and how so all you really do is select the type of AD you want on your website so text to display ads text ads, you know link units rich The ads they have a lot of different ad formats. They're actually continuously releasing them. So they keep changing and all you do is you put where your ads want to be. So maybe you want to put it at the top of your content and to the side of your content. So everything else is around here you watch the highest paying ads go live. So rather than you working with this moped company in this, you know, Perfect Kiss company in this Jazz and lightly company. All these advertisers are using Google AdWords to target their ads and they actually auction off your ad space. And the advertisers are fighting to get your ad space and it's going to be the highest paying ads so very very complex. But they use a whole system with a drank where they're serving up ads that are going to be you know highest paying so that means you get the most money and also most targeted towards your users and last but not least leave the money stuff to us. So every time someone clicks on your ad for Google so someone sees your ad they click on it you get paid they keep track of all your money. They keep track of all your billing you'll get a check at the end of the month or you could do it. Pause it. So very very simple. All you do is add it to your website. So we have it here right at the top of this article nautical-themed lamps and right at the bottom of the article. We have another article or another ad space here. And this is a matched content ad from Google AdSense. So really that's all you need to do is make sure you're driving traffic to your website. That's the number one thing Drive traffic to your website and then just have ADD spaces and fill it with Google AdSense and they'll do all the heavy lifting for you and can easily monetize your content. You don't have to worry about anything with Advertising you just have to worry about driving traffic to your pages so that people see your ads and click on them. And that's that if you need more help with Google AdSense if you're trying to figure out, you know, some next steps some helpful tips to increase earnings. We will publish an article on our website soon. So make sure you check that out later. I'll help you kind of clear up some strategies and tips for growing your AdSense earnings.

Introduction to Google Cloud.

Introduction to Google Cloud. This article is intended for use by anyone interested in preparing for their future careers in the next few minutes. We're going to discuss what Google cloud is and what some student developers have been able to create with it readily. We're going to start by going back in time. Let's pretend for a moment that we're in the time before cloud computing and we want to start a company to create a social networking site. You'd start by buying a server lugging it all the way home from the store and spend hours preparing it with all the correct hardware and software so it can run your company's web app fast forward a few months and things are looking up for your company site. The users are flooding in as your organization's user base grows. You have to buy and install more and more servers. This is called scaling eventually you're doing so well that the company opens up a data center next thing, you know, your International and spending billions of dollars opening data centers all around the world. Sounds like Work right? Here's the good news. You don't have to do any of that. Luckily. Some companies have spent years building. Some of the world's most advanced networks of data centers cloud computing is when these companies allow developers to store data and run code on their Computing infrastructure. Google is one of these companies Google has data centers all around the world that have allowed it to scale to billions of users these data centers. How's the Computing infrastructure that powers the Google products? You may be familiar with such as search. Gmail and google photos Google Cloud gives you access to the same technology and infrastructure the powers Google. This means the Google cloud has over 100 products and tools and categories like computing storage and machine learning. Artificial intelligence that seamlessly integrates all a click away one category is computed these products to help you deploy code to the cloud. For example, we may use a compute product like AppEngine to deploy a social networking site another Category is storage and databases these products help restore data retrieve and query data in the cloud. For example, we may want to store data for our dog walking app the dog's names and locations in a cloud firestore database. We also have machine learning and artificial intelligence. These products allow us to leverage Google's AI Technologies for our own applications. We can build and deploy our machine learning models to AI platforms or take advantage of easy-to-use. Rained machine learning APIs like Vision or natural language. So what is Google Cloud in a sentence Google Cloud, lets developers build and host applications and websites store data, and analyze data all on Google scalable and reliable Computing infrastructure. Now, let's see what some student developers have done with Google Cloud a team of student developers called Guardian works together to help Alzheimer's patients with the GPS-enabled smartwatch. The guardian team leveraged a lot of the Firebase platform for their application Firebase is Google Cloud's comprehensive mobile development platform. The team used Firebase Authentication to easily verify app users Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications to different platforms and Cloud Functions for Firebase to execute backend code without having to manage a server. They also used Cloud firestore a Google Cloud database to store and sink user data a team of student developers created a service called nigga. To help people who are deaf or hard of hearing a talk on the phone. They leverage Google clouds text-to-speech and speech-to-text APIs to convert back and forth between Voice and text and that's it. Let's review we started by talking about what Google cloud is a platform that lets developers build and host applications and websites store data and analyze data all on Google scalable and reliable Computing infrastructure. Then we discussed some of the incredible projects that student developers were able to build with these tools when working to learn skills for their future careers.

History of Google

Today more than half of The Valleys Engineers were born in other countries doing something that is really Innovative and cutting-edge and that you can't do anywhere else. That is a compelling story. And that's why they come here. The roster of immigrants who have shaped Silicon Valley includes Alexander pinatas off from Russia founder of Ampex Andrew Grove from Hungary CEO of Intel Jerry Yang from Taiwan. Co-founder of Yahoo! Andreas Beck - I'm from Germany and Vinod Khosla from India co-founders of Sun Microsystems Elon Musk from South Africa founder of Tesla. And from Russia a young man named Sergei. Brin Sergei's mother was disappointed incomplete his Ph.D. She told me I was like, well everything else turned out, okay. It's hard to think of another Valley company whose name is said as often by so many we say the internet gathered up all the world's information and gave us access to it. No Google gathered up all the world's information and gave us access to it. It's really the ability to search for knowledge. That is the transformative event of our era This Global giant like so many of The Valleys legendary firms owe, it's founding to The Valleys magnetic attraction. Even a force that draws too ambitious young people here. It's you know, two people out of Stanford's, you know, that never had a job before and started what today is one of the most successful companies in the world. Larry Page is from Michigan Sergey Brin born in Russia grows up in Maryland after college. Each wants to pursue a Ph.D. In computer science, each decides to come to the valley to Stanford. Where in 1995 they meet. Eat the next year they decide to work together on a thesis project to improve the sorry state of search on the internet search on the internet had become horrible. The sheer amount of information available is immense almost overwhelming and so finding things that were relevant with very difficult. You might search for some important topic and you got somebody's kid's term paper on it. You got somebody who'd written about it, whatever you couldn't find anything anymore because the stuff you're looking for was like a hundred Pages down, but In in page think they found a solution. The thing that really shifted was the recognition that deciding whether a particular thing was relevant to your search was not just a matter of looking at what was in it. You want to look for pages that other people think are valuable. It's an idea. They borrow from their parents both Sergey and Larry were academic kids. Their families were professors. They were graduate students and they were extremely familiar with the way that citations work in. Neck in scientific literature. I write a paper other people who think it's a good paper put a footnote in their paper pointing to my paper and maybe you could take that same structure and import it to the way that people link one page to another so if lots of people link to my page probably means it's a good page. The idea was to build a system that you could reliably count how popular something was they named their search method after the mathematical term for one followed by A hundred zeros intentionally misspelled. I remember this day the first search I did on Google was dramatically better than all the search that I tried previously to that page and Brin for planning to stay in school and finish their PhDs set out to sell their spiffy new tool. They were looking to license the technology and you know, I often think you produce something wonderful and other people would love their you're the baby you've created in one want to raise it but the reality Leti is they got other things going on and it doesn't look as pretty to them as it does to you. They spend a year looking but no one will pay for the rights to their search engine. So they asked David Cheriton who's an investor as well as a professor if he can help them find money to start their own company in 1998. He asks a Stanford alumnus who co-founded Sun Microsystems to come to his home to meet page and Brin they were thought it would be useful in a fourth dimension. Sort of talk over what it means to start a company if you're still a Stanford student. So we met at David's house in Palo Alto and it was like an early morning at eight o'clock and they had a nine o'clock meeting at Cisco. So I didn't have much time for Larry and Sergey to arrive first. And so they were out there on the front porch with me and connected into my ethernet at home and the Andy pulled up in his Porsche and hopped out and they demoed the Google running on this laptop. It was working stunningly. Being irrelevant even more. Small demo. So clearly, you know, I thought this was going to work there was only the question. The only question was, you know, how would they make money with this? So the next version is like what's the business model how you monetize this? It was a well, you know, we can then link this order these relevant ads or relative to the search term you have they could have this unlimited ad inventory and just your search for a tennis racket, you know him a from people in the cellar tennis rackets and you know, and they will Church five cents a click for that which is still the basic feet today. So in the back of my mind, I was calculating and I know Get a million clicks a day at first and cyclic $50,000 a day. They cannot go broke. So it was clear that this was a money-making machine. So he said, you know, I don't want you guys to have to you know, take to low valuation or to have to worry too much about these many things right now. Why don't I just write you a check? So he went back to his car came back with a checkbook and wrote us a check for $100,000 a new company is born and soon a new verb to Google. The website pulls in so much ad Revenue that Google quickly becomes a very big business. When it goes public in 2004, it's worth twenty-three billion dollars by 2017. It's one of the most valuable companies on Earth worth 600 billion.

How Instagram actually works?

I'm going to be explaining to you all about the Instagram algorithm and how it actually works. Now. If you're trying to grow your Instagram account and get more followers as quickly as possible, then it's so important that you understand how the algorithm actually works because if you do then you'll be able to actually work with it, which will enable you to grow much faster now real quick before I get into. How the algorithm works I just wanted to let you know how I know how the Algorithm Works. Basically, I run a social media marketing agency called Aptus Creative Marketing, and my team and I are constantly testing the algorithm to figure out exactly how it works so that we can get our paying clients the best results that we possibly can. Alright. So without further Ado, let's Jump On In and talk about how this algorithm actually works. Now the first thing that you need to understand is that whenever you post on Instagram and actually most other social media platforms also what Ins is the algorithm shows your post to a small percentage of your followers. So let's say you had a thousand followers. The algorithm is going to show your post to probably somewhere between about fifty and a hundred of your followers. And while the algorithm is doing is its testing to find out whether or not people like your post after that depending on how much the algorithm perceives that people are interested in your post. It will choose to show your post to more and more people. So, how does the algorithm help? They're not people who are interested in your post. Well, this is mainly based on the engagement that the post gets and specifically normally the number of likes that a post gets now on different social media platforms different things are important, but on Instagram, it seems that the most important thing is first of all likes and second of all screen time. So this isn't something that we normally talk about when we're talking about engagement, but actually how long someone looks at your post is going to determine how well the algorithm I'm perceives that people like it, and that will determine whether or not the algorithm will continue to show it to more and more people something else that you should understand. Is that the engagement that your post receives is actually measured relative to the size of your audience? So let's say that you have a thousand followers and your post gets a hundred likes you might say. Well, there's no way I could compare to one of saying Kylie Jenner's posts that have thousands and thousands and thousands of likes. So how would I ever show up in the feet? Well, the reason that you're able to be As your engagement is being measured relative to the size of your audience. So Instagram is more looking at percentages to see what percentage of the people who it was served to actually responded positively what percentage of the people who your post was shown to actually looked at it for a longer period of time now after your post is shown to the initial segment of your audience. The algorithm is going to measure how much engagement actually received and then determine how many more people to show It to so assuming that your post received a good amount of Engagement the algorithm will then show it to another 10% or 20% of your following in the hopes that those people will also be interested in it from there the algorithm continues to show it to larger and larger segments of your audience until the engagement seems to be dying down and people don't seem to be as interested in it anymore. Okay. So that's basically how the algorithm works for your posts being shown to your audience, but then let's talk about hashtags and how that whole side. Things work as you probably know when you use a hashtag in your posts' description that hashtag acts as a search term so that whenever someone clicks one of those hashtags or types in one of those hashtags, they're served search results that are shown in that usual Instagram grid of posts that have used that hashtag in the past. Now the post that shows up when someone searches for any given hashtag aren't random and they're not just in a mixed-up order. The algorithm has carefully sorted these so that the person who is Sir. Searching for that hashtag is most likely to see the post that they are looking for or posts that is relevant to the topic that they're looking for first. Now, if you're trying to grow your account quickly, then you must get your posts up to the top of those Search terms those hashtag results because when you get closer to the top it's more likely that people actually click on your post find your account and follow your account. So to help you get up closer to the top of those hashtag results. I want to tell you the two things that Instagram is using to determine the Sorting order of those posts. The first one is recency. So, how old are the post more recent posts are going to be ranked higher on those hashtag search results. The second thing is how good the engagement was now again, this is going to be measured relative to an account's sighs. So even if your post and get as many likes or as many comments as Kylie Jenner's you still might rank above Kylie Jenner on that hashtag search if your post got a higher A percentage of likes and a higher percentage of comments and more screen time for each person that Instagram showed your post to compared to Kylie's post or any other large influencers post. Now as I'm sure you can see that's really good news for you because otherwise none of us would stand a chance to compete with those really big influencers. Okay, and then there's one final aspect of the Instagram algorithm that I'm going to be explaining to you and that is how Instagram chooses which accounts to suggest to people Because this can be a great way for you to pick up followers when Instagram actually suggest your specific account to other people who might be interested in it. Now, here's how this generally works when someone lets them call them personally. Number one likes an account. Let's say count a and then life's your account then with another person will call the person. Number two likes account an Instagram will automatically suggest your account because someone who recently like that account also liked your account and so Instagram believes that maybe a person would also be interested in your account since person one was interested in both of these accounts as well. Now the more followers that you have in common with another account that the more likely Instagram is to actually suggest your account when someone else likes that other account. So for example, let's say that you have an Instagram fashion account and this other Instagram fashion account has a lot of followers that also follow your account. Well in that case whenever someone Follows this other fashion account Instagram is likely to recommend your account as an account that this person might also be interested in following and then something you might want to consider is that this means that when you do a giveaway or some other sort of collaboration with another account not only are you going to directly get followers from collaborating with that account right at that time but also because you'll then have more followers in common with that other account. That means you'll get more recommendations. It's from Instagram itself in the future whenever someone likes that other account that you collaborated with in the past. All right. Well, that is a summary of exactly how the Instagram algorithm actually works. I hope that you found this extremely helpful and that you can put it to good work to actually use it to grow your account even more quickly than you're already growing.

What is Vpn?

You probably heard of a VPN before it's even possible you've used one before but do you know what it does a VPN stands for virtual private network, which basically means it gives you privacy online originally VPNs were only used in business settings where big businesses organizations or governments wanted to secure their data since people work remotely and needed to connect online businesses needed to create a secure connection. Otherwise, they were at risk for hacking or other loss of Data nowadays VPNs are used by everyone specifically because it ensures your location stays private. Your data is encrypted and that you can surf the web anonymously, but how does it work? Let's back up for a second to understand how the internet works when you visit a site like Facebook or Twitter you type in the domain name that domain is basically a nickname for the websites IP address and IP address is just like your home address only it consists of numbers and not Street. Names since it's much easier to remember names than a string of numbers. We give websites domain names and a server translates them. Your computer has an IP address, and so does every device browsing the internet. When you type in the web site's domain name on your browser, whether you're using Chrome Firefox or even Internet Explorer you send your data into the internet until it reaches a server that server then translates the data and sends you back to the website you requested the problem is when you send that data to To the server, you're sending them your IP address and a lot of other information to this is where hackers can intercept your information. Imagine you're sitting in a coffee shop using their public Wi-Fi on your phone. And you want to check your bank account someone else with the laptop can easily log into the network and get a hold of your passwords emails and other information you might have but if you use a VPN, they won't be able to access that the websites you visit can also gather your information, but they And to do it to study their demographic usually it's not a problem. But sometimes you want to protect your identity and privacy. So how does the VPN protect my privacy when you send information online a VPN creates a tunnel that encrypts your information this way if someone gets ahold of your data, they won't be able to read it. The tunnel also makes it harder to hack in but don't be fooled. It is still possible just much harder to do a VPN that also adds in an extra server. We spoke about how you send data. From your computer to a server and then that server pings you back with the website, but with VPN, your data goes to their server first, and then it's sent out to the website this extra step helps in a lot of ways first. It can change your location a lot of video streaming websites like Netflix and Hulu have strict content depending on your geolocation. Let's say you want to watch your favorite show on Netflix, but it's not available in your country. You send your information to one of the VPN servers in America and in that server sends it. The Netflix website Netflix now thinks you're in America and you can stream your show without any problems a pm tricks them into thinking you're in a different location because the signal is coming from a different server clever right changing your location can also be helpful when booking a hotel or flight research has shown that hotels and flight prices change depending on your location and a VPN could potentially save you lots of money, but let's get back to your privacy. Remember how we mentioned websites sometimes collect your data will Many times governments can request this information and use the listed IP addresses to track your location. But with the VPN their information only reaches the VPN server, they can't track you back to your original IP address. See how cool that is many VPNs also have a no-logs policy, which means they don't record what sites you visit. So if the government requests the VPN provider for tracking logs, your information won't be their VPNs are really handy when it comes to keeping your privacy safe on the web by Changing your location encrypting your data, and ensuring your privacy.

How did Amazon get so big?

In terms of Revenue Amazon is the biggest company in the world. They have over two hundred and thirty-two billion dollars in revenue and that was just in 2018 19 is even bigger and 2021 will be bigger as well. And did you know as we're getting into the 20s Amazon is going out roughly 20% year-over-year? That's roughly forty billion dollars in more. Revenue every single year that they're adding to their bottom line everyone. I'm going to go over how Amazon got so big egg and the marketing Secrets behind their growth. Jeff Bezos saw a report that web usage was growing two thousand three hundred percent per year. That's a lot like a hedge fund manager at the time after seeing that massive growth in the tricks. He realized that hey, he should be listening out things that he could sell online and after seeing a list of 20 possible products eventually. He landed on books and why books because there are low costs and because it's such a diverse Niche that they could be sold to anyone books were a commodity with a digital storefront Amazon could offer a wider selection than any brick and mortar store. He couldn't be more right marketing all the books online in just one place is much more convenient to customers as well. And it's easier for them to search one place than is for them to go to multiple different bookstores and fronts to find what they're looking for at this point. Amazon was pretty much set. In the standards for what could become the e-commerce industry having that kind of convenience all in one place. Stop could be a proven model for lots of other categories and in the late 1990s, Amazon expanded to other commoditized media products started with music and movies followed by electronics and toys by the mid-2000s Amazon was a growing network of warehouses and also Health kitchen items Sporting Goods video games apparel and even jewelry but is it wasn't just about the Alex it was about the user experience in service that they were offering think Walmart, but not having to leave your own couch and get what you want. That was an amazing concept, especially when it comes to marketing. So now let's go into some marketing insights in 2008 Amazon listed their company Vision as relentlessly focusing on customer experience, but officing our customer's low prices convenience, and wide selection of merchandise. This definitely shined in their marketing approach's convenience. A huge Factor for free shipping. Have you ever wondered how Amazon afford to pay for all that free shipping? Well, it's not cheap. It actually caused Amazon around 1 billion dollars per quarter. But how did they make money? Well, then there's Amazon Prime there nearly 54 million Prime members with a yearly fee of $99 simple math tells you that the revenue generated from Prime alone is roughly five point four billion dollars a year which allows Amazon to offer all the benefits that are Does one-click shopping is easier than ever allowing customers to buy everything they could write from their couch automated deliveries is another big thing right Amazon knows when you're going to run out of paper towels and it can even notify you to show you at the right time and even has buttons where you can push so that way you like. Hey, I need to do automated toilet paper delivery at this date and time and they know that you rely on that toilet paper toothpaste or whatever. It may be so they have fast delivery in many. They're not just doing 2-day delivery. They're doing same day. If not next day worse case and that's how they're building amazing Customer Loyalty which gets me into my next point. Right? So the way they create crazy customer loyalty is they open up product reviews at the time when Amazon started doing this person like whoa, you're just let them anyone review a product. What is it? They say bad things. Jeff Bezos was like that's good. We don't want people buying products that are bad if they're bad people shouldn't be buying them on our platform. So he wanted to create an open transparent product review system where anyone can talk about hey, this is good. This is bad. Here's what I didn't like and that's important because 80% of your future profits will come from just 20% of your existing customers. And that's why you want to encourage amazing reviews with your products and services Amazon also has Prime perks which help them grow fast creating a Prime Membership that allows loyal customers right from free shipping to the next day are today are in some cases. Some days even same-day delivery by going above and beyond for your customers in your marketing. You can offer more and more for the price. This is how you win over customers. Now. Another thing that Amazon did really well that we can all learn from is their email marketing. Now the e-mail verification for orders allows Amazon to collect people's information and create Prime accounts. If they opt to this allows Amazon to collect user data based on login information and make the user experience much more personalized remember that's where the web is going. It's all about personalized experiences. Versus showing generic stuff, I never see Amazon recommending pet products to me because I don't have any pets. They'll recommend toothpaste toilet paper bottled waters. Although I'm trying to cut back on buying bottled waters and they won't give me novels like Harry Potter to buy they'll recommend business books because they know that's what I'm buying all the time and then the leaving tell me encouraging me to use Audible because they see I'm buying so many business books. Another thing that they've done really well is the technology tool Innovations look marketing. Our products are really hard but marketing good products makes life easier. Amazon Kindle came out a long time ago and what they started doing is like, hey, let's make it so it's really easy to read a book in 2011 Amazon reported that they sold more Kindle books than paperbacks for every hundred pipbuck books. They sold a hundred and fifteen Kindle books Amazon is an Undisputed leader in e-readers and accounts for roughly 80% of e-book sales firestick. This is ever to compete with streaming. Asses like Roku and Apple tv Amazon have created. The fire stick becomes one of Em's most successful Hardware hits with over 37 million active users worldwide Amazon even recently began partnering with TV companies like Toshiba to create the Fire TV. It's television paired with the fire stick capabilities and Alexa. Another thing that they've done is Echo / Alexa, right you saw those Echo dots or those Alexa devices. There are nearly a hundred and eighteen million home assistants. Is in us alone, according to a new report from voice pot died and voice defies. It reconfirmed that Amazon's Echo is in the lead noting that the Power Smart speaker grew to 61 percent market share by the end of last year. These devices can also be used to buy products straight from Amazon. We do it all the time my wife and I speak right into our Alexa device and we're just placing orders. Another thing is Amazon's partnering with other businesses from fulfillment by Amazon. Allows businesses to sell their products right on Amazon and get fast shipping. I was at the UPS store the other day sending a package out and the UPS store was filled with a ton of packages and I asked them what are all these packages taking up the majority of start like it's all Amazon returns. They partnered with other companies to make your experience better. So you can just drop off packages at a close UPS store or any real teller that they've partnered with which again makes your experience better. And that's one of their keys in their marketing. They're all about The user experience see their secret to marketing isn't Google AdWords or SEO or Facebook ads everything that I mentioned is about making the experience for users better. And when you're thinking about your marketing, don't just think about how you can acquire more users.

How does Netflix work?

Remember Blockbuster ha ha ha you can laugh but there wasn't quite anything like popping over to one of the nine thousand locations. They had globally rented a gently used copy of Home Alone on VHS and settling down in the glow of your CRT tube television with a big bucket of popcorn. Of course, once the internet came along and Netflix with it Blockbuster stores became all but a memory as there are now only I do Dozen of them left in the United States mostly in Alaska do too outrageous Broadband prices. So intuitively you'd think that it would take a rather massive Enterprise to pull the rug out from under literally thousands of brick-and-mortar stores and you'd be right during periods of peak usage Netflix accounts for over a third of all Downstream internet traffic in the United States a third. third but exactly how do they fling videos too so many people at once do they just have one giant server farm that constantly pours episodes of House of Cards and Family Guy on to the internet backbone not exactly like many other large sites focused on media delivery Netflix uses a Content Delivery Network or CDN to store and transmit movies and TV shows you see Although Netflix's entire Library could certainly fit on a few servers housed in a single building. There are some problems with this approach One location far from that facility would suffer from high latency. Not what you want for streaming video to this architecture would be basically the definition of a bottleneck since a single connection. That fast doesn't exist. And if it did it would be astronomically expensive. Pensive and three, it would mean a single point of failure that could cause Netflix's entire service to go down. If something happened at that one location a CDN solves these problems by utilizing redundant servers in multiple locations to serve many Geographic areas more quickly to balance server load between them. So they don't get overworked and to ensure that there will be backups. In case of an incident or outage at one or even several locations, but Netflix, in particular, takes this concept A step further because they are so big they actually work directly with a number of tips to install their own Hardware. These boxes called open Connected appliances at either exchange points or even within the USPS facilities themselves. Holding up to 280 terabytes of video each of these comes pre-loaded with close to the entire Netflix library. So what this means for you the consumer is that instead of connecting to some super far away land server to watch a movie you're connecting to an appliance at your own ISP. That's much closer cutting down on latency and making it so that your Netflix data packets don't have to fight with all the other internet. Thick that is Upstream from your ISP. And when it's time for catalog updates Netflix pushes them to these appliances during the morning when there's typically less internet traffic overall. Meaning that by the time everyone gets home from work ready for a night of binge-watching the repository of content at their ISP has already been updated and is ready to go and if lots of people fire up their computers at once the appliances are equipped to push out data. Yeah at over 90 gigabits per second the equivalent of over 13,000 people watching an HD movie at once then if that's not enough bandwidth Netflix can just install more boxes for larger isps that serve greater numbers of people but to keep speeds High the open connect boxes only handle storing and transmitting video for everything else keeping track of what shows you like recommendations billing Lon. Beans and the search feature Netflix uses Amazon web services or AWS a massive Cloud processing service that Netflix can quickly by more time on in the form of virtualized servers as their customer base and traffic volume grows. And it's also very failure tolerant due to high amounts of redundancy, but wait a second Amazon has that Prime video thing that they're trying to get everyone to buy why in the world would they let Netflix a huge competitor use their servers? Well, Amazon does make quite a bit of money from their deal with Netflix possibly into the range of hundreds of millions of dollars, and may not want to start pushing out certain customers just because they might compete in different market segments. I mean think of how Samsung manufacturers chips that Apple puts in their phones. Because Amazon wants to be the go-to company for cloud processing. They can't behave in that way. It's kind of like how Comcast won't stop you from watching a Disney movie through their internet service yet. Do you find yourself racing against the clock as a freelancer or small business owner? Do you have trouble keeping track of your accounting and expenses and your invoices Freshbooks Cloud accounting software is the solution for you? It's the simplest easiest way to More productive more organized and gets paid faster create and send professional-looking invoices in less than 30 seconds set up online payments with just a couple of clicks see when your client has seen your invoice and take the entire platform with you on your Apple or Android mobile device. So you can keep track of all that stuff throughout the day rather than getting hope at the end of the day being like, what did I work on? How much should I pull him for that what's going on?

What is Bitcoin?

If you bought a single Bitcoin a year ago, you would have paid just under $1,000 for it. However, if you want to sell that same Bitcoin today is worth over $17,000, which really begs the question. What exactly is a Bitcoin the idea is that this is a virtual currency that isn't backed by anything physical. It's important to know that this isn't a stock. It is a currency now mind you it's a little bit different than something like a US dollar or a Euro or the Yen, which are all backed by specific. Freeze, but the same idea still applies here. And the main reason why Bitcoin is skyrocketing in value is that everyone wants to get their hands on them. So how does this all actually work? Well unlike something like cash which is printed by the government and I can hold in my hand Bitcoin relies on something called the blockchain a simple way to understand. This is to imagine a ledger every time anyone buys or sells anything related to bitcoin is recorded in this ledger called the blockchain and then it is copied hundreds and thousands of times every single hour across multiple computers to make sure, that everyone is on the exact same page. What makes this interesting is that idea that because it is copied across all these different computers and because it all those public before I say want to go buy a Bitcoin from Ken or before he tries to sell me a pizza for a whole Bitcoin because he's greedy and wants to sell me a $17,000 pizza. I can actually see exactly how many Bitcoins are in his specific wallet and vice versa is all totally public. So say I want to buy that incredibly expensive and yet hopefully delicious pizza from Ken for a single Bitcoin. Well, it works out from his end because he can look at It and say hey, look I have one Bitcoin there. I transferred over to him. He receives it into his wallet. It's all recorded in the blockchain and everything is totally fine. However, what happens when I decide to cheat the system and pretend that I have 50 Bitcoin in my wallet when I really don't have any at all. Well, the blockchain actually does a really good job of protecting against this because that ledger in that list of transactions is a copied across so many computers is updated multiple times per hour the idea that I can just say. Hey, I have 50 Bitcoin and try to tell Ken that he can check. Unless I can access all of the thousands of computers every few minutes and change those numbers which are not remotely practical can it's still going to be able to know the instead of my 50 Bitcoins. I have 0.001 Bitcoin because that BlockChain has to be double and triple and quadruple checked by computers all around the world. You can actually say your own computer up to help mine Bitcoin essentially every single time that you help process the transaction and make sure that it's legit you mind. What is a very very tiny amount of Bitcoin if you were lucky enough to mine Bitcoin in the Days and held on to what you mind? You become a very very rich person today. However in 2017, if you want to set up a Bitcoin mining system, it really doesn't make a lot of sense Bitcoin mining used to work best on PC graphics cards, which while originally meant for gaming can actually do this kind of stuff fairly. Well, however, nowadays Asics have completely destroyed that market an ASIC is essentially a small computer that is sole purpose in life is to mine Bitcoin and when it does it doesn't a lot faster than your actual computer which makes it totally Delete obsolete. If you're interested, I did an entire article on crypto mining a few months back now, even though it's not profitable to mine Bitcoin anymore. There are other types of cryptocurrencies that you can actually make some money on if you have a pretty decent PC and then trade those into Bitcoin. So if you guys want more information on that, you can check it out right here by far the easiest way of getting your hands on bitcoin is to simply buy them. But this is where I have to be very very clear. This is not a normal investment. Now, this is just going up and down, but it goes wildly out and wildly down. If you do decide to put money into Bitcoin, please keep in mind. This is a super-risky investment. And then honestly, it could all disappear at any minute. Hopefully won't but just be careful prices really are wildly variable on bitcoin right now. So last week a single bitcoins worth about $10,000. But this week is what about 17,000 and next week. It could be worth 25,000 or can be worth $2,000. There's really no way of knowing if all that hasn't scared you off then actually isn't that difficult to get your hands on some Bitcoin. So the first thing you're going to need Need is a wallet to actually store them in. There are a lot of different ways of getting yourself a wallet. So when the very secure side you can get a hardware wallet that is going to be fully offline. But for most people, the easiest way is to create an account and an exchange such as a coin base. The advantage with coinbase is that not only do they give you a wallet to store it in but you can also purchase bitcoin from them as well as some other cryptocurrencies such as Litecoin and aetherium which are the other two major ones right now. Alright. So after this long and arduous journey, we finally have our Bitcoin. However, what can we actually do? With it. So some stores will actually allow you to buy things with Bitcoin. However, the vast majority of people are using it as more of an investment so you can buy some here. Hope the price goes up and then turn around and sell it later. However, it's not all just digital. So there are some Bitcoin ATMs that you can go to in the real world put your wallet information in and withdraw or deposit into them. I don't know if I would really use these myself but it's a cool idea cryptocurrency like Bitcoin are a really interesting piece of tech to me and the idea that they can be actual currency is super fast. Donating, however, how can it all go wrong? The big one is absolutely price. Well, yes Bitcoin has skyrocketed in value this year. There's no guarantee that is going to continue in the future. And if you're not OK with a really really risky thing like that, then Bitcoin is probably not for you. Even though the blockchain is secure. There's nothing stopping someone from being able to steal your own personal Bitcoin using your wallet. So just like if someone grabs your real world wallet and pulls the cash out of it. If someone has access to your Bitcoin wallet, they can absolutely pull your Bitcoin out of it. This actually happened to me. Weeks ago, so I used to use a service called nice hash to be able to mine some cryptocurrencies and then turn those into Bitcoin and as I was in the middle of mining they were hacked and all of the Bitcoin was stolen mine included. So like anything if you have your entire life savings under your bed, probably a bad idea if you keep all of your Bitcoin in one place and equally bad idea. Hopefully, you guys found this article useful and maybe learn a thing or two. If you want to know more about the mining side of cryptocurrencies. You can check out my new article over here.

Rank Smaller businesses

You see all these big sites dominating Google but hey, we're not all big sites. We're not all billion-dollar companies. One of us has a small website with little to no backlinks. Very little content is even possible for us to get rankings on Google. I'm going to break down how to rank smaller websites fast in Google in 2020.Ok here's something that you may not know Google's diversity update and June 2019 gave different types of sites more opportunities to rank by limiting. The number of times a single domain can appear in a single-serve a single website can't break more than two times in a SERP that excludes branded key terms of course, but this allows smaller sites to have a chance of rank among the big Dogs like Amazon or Microsoft or we're almost at maybe that's dominating the SERPs. So how do you go out there and rank your new site that's small really high at a quick time period? Well first off you can start with the exact match domain name. Now, a lot of people say exact match domain names don't work as well as they used to and that's correct, but they still do now creating a domain that's an exact match to the service or product. You're selling is a great way to get some Traction in the SERPs this works. Typically well for localized keywords and long-tail keywords. It doesn't work. Well for head terms if your site gets a little traffic scoring exact match domain name could get you a spot really high up in the SERPs a good example of this is let's say your tailor in Chicago, Illinois having a domain name like Illinois's Taylor.com is a great way to rank higher Gap. Saath team did a study on exact match domain names for one-page sites. They tested multiple examples. Match domain names and create a small site for those domains. And this is what they found. They create a domain name called Chauffeur driver dot co dot U k-- chauffeur is commonly misspelled and for this term, they use show. ER driver Co dot u k in other words, they misspelled chauffeur something really important that came out of this was a lot of people were searching for the misspellings and this help them rank higher. It was simple It was easy and after doing this with the one-page website and to backlinks the site made it to page 2 of Google Now, imagine if they showed a website with a little more lat they would have climbed up to page one and potentially to the top of page one. So a pro tip for you is when you're looking for exact match domains, you could also look for Miss Spelling's as well. Another study that they conducted was a near me domain name. They bought a domain name title apartments near me. Co dot U k-- and created a one-page website with no backlinks the entire website consisted of a contact page and about a thousand words of content the page ranked on page one of Google likely due to this relevancy of the domain name. The next thing that you can do is build one-on-one engagements with customers. We're big Brands often tend to ignore is small things like personal engagements with their customers. I'm pretty much everywhere. Why because I care about you and I care about your success in big companies. I'm not saying that none of them ever do this. But most of them don't they don't care they're faceless. And this is one way that you can compete with these larger corporations. So simple things that you can do is respond to all comments on social media, whether they're good or bad setup live chats on your website. That way people can engage in interacting with you or other members of your team. You can offer amazing customer service people love this. It's really taken for granted in large corporations and just doing that more personal approach will start gaining you those social signals, which will help you with your search engine rankings next. I want you to focus on long-tail keywords according to the search engine guide Amazon makes 57 percent of their sales from long-tail keywords. That's because long-tail variations, especially those with commercial intent convert very well focus on the less competitive key. Terms that big Brands typically ignore focusing on long-tail keywords is a great way to find high-quality traffic since long-tail keywords are typically more specific in nature scoring them. Typically generates more leads more sales more conversions. Now, if you're looking for these long-tail keywords, the easiest way to find them is you go to uber suggest you type in a keyword that's ahead term and it'll show you in the keyword ideas report all the long tail variations and even other head term variations of that keyword. For the ones that have high search volume High CPC because High CPC usually means that keyword generate sales and look for ones that have a low SEO difficulty score scores of 40 and under are easier to rank for than ones that have a high SEO difficulty next. I want you to create valuable specialty content in your Niche. Did you know that Google prefers niche sites over broadsides? Do you remember that old-school site about.com that used to be about everything? Well, it was one of the largest sites. It's on the web. But over time it's hard to die. Why because Google prefers knit sites. What they decide to do is take their about.com site and turn it into six vertical-specific sites. Now all their million-plus articles wouldn't fit into those six verticals. So you've deleted roughly 900 thousand pieces of content Now by having those six vertical sites, not only did their traffic grow, but they also saw an increase in Revenue by a hundred forty percent. That's more important than traffic. That's it. Huge win since your site is a smaller site. You can have a complete focus on your specialty and Niche this will help you do better than your competition. This allows you to provide more value for your users in your content, which is often ignored by larger companies. You can become the credible go-to source for anything in your vertical just look at backlinko.com. Brian Dean is known as the link guy in the SEO industry. He's really gotten niche-specific sure. He does more than that, and he's smart and he's an amazing guy known for years. But taking that Niche was really smart by him. This allows you to offer more value than any broadside out there which then in turn helps with your rankings in the long run. Next. You want to make your site mobile-friendly. I can't reiterate this enough. Google has mobile-first indexing and over 50% of the searches are now done on mobile devices. So having your site optimized for mobile devices is huge. If you're not doing this you're not going to do well, so make sure Sure, your site is responsive and it loads fast. If we're not sure how to make your site load faster. Google has a page speed tool that optimizes tells you what's wrong with your load time. So you can optimize for it and you can also use free Solutions like Cloudflare to put your site on servers all across the world for free which of course helps with your low time as well.

how to start a business

What is Business?

What is the business what is business this is the article for you. Let's look at it like this. There are inputs you put into a business and the business will produce outputs. Inputs you could think if you are a chocolate company, then you'll need a farm for your Cocoa Tree to make cocoa to turn that into chocolate that Cocoa Tree where you have your farm that island. You'll need employee labor. You will need robots. So business is often as it grows divided up into four sections. These are operations Human Resources. Sometimes called HR marketing. hurting and finance these four divisions of a company Are all sinners internal factors also they are. Your units for your GCSE business. If you're doing Hua then it will be actually operations if you free. Consumer protections very important, but that extra quality could mean extra costs because you might now have to employ more labor. You might need better capital in order to cover that also need to think you need to be ethical. It's not a law but it's a consideration. You need to be ethical. You need to be doing the morally correct FIB for example, should you as a big business should you use fair trade? For example, should you use zero-hour contracts? These are Big considerations check out my article on that one. Okay, so inputs go into a business creates outputs usually come in two forms goods and services. These are both explained very shortly after this stage stay tuned for goods and services whether it's a tangible product. That's a good or an intangible process. That's a service will have an environmental impact and that's another external pressure and duration a business should make for example carbon footprint is now a growing issue within business and the economy. For example, one percent of coffee cups are currently recycled which means 99% of coffee cups are not recycled. This is a big thing for a business to consider. However, they could also use it to their advantage. There is a coffee business called Costa that is now trying to increase the number of coffee cups that it recycles. and that is a form of Marketing so you can use these external pressures to your benefits stay tuned. I hope that helps your exams be graced by a humble. Good luck with your exams.
